... a passion for learning and working with animals

... having pets at home, visiting Dublin Zoo and watching nature documentaries growing up all showing me exactly that I wanted to work with animals...
This is Buddy
10/10 GOOD BOY
Buddy is our family dog and he's 10 years old.
He's a Collie/Labrador mix with all the looks and beauty of a Lab with the intelligence and energy of a Collie.
Unfortunately, Buddy suffers from anxiety particularly with noises and separation.
He also has a sensitive stomach meaning we have to be very careful with what he eats or things he picks up on walks.

WHERE I COME IN!

My journey over the past 10 years...
Completed my degree in Environmental Science at University College Dublin
I carried out research during my Master's degree investigating zoo lion behaviour and started work experience in the education dep. at Blackpool Zoo
After impressing at the zoo, became Senior Education Officer at the zoo leading the team
Returned home to Ireland and managed in a store for a leading business in the Irish pet industry
Moved to Manchester, UK to pursue further education into animal care
Achieved a first class honours in my Master's specialising in zoo conservation and care
Became an expert by teaching about all animals from the tallest Giraffe to the smallest insect including teaching university and veterinary students
THEN I BEGAN WORKING ON A PET BRAND THAT WOULD ALIGN WITH MY PRIORITIES...
